Hello, I am Fatima.

Like many of us, I wear several “hats”, different identities united by one constant: a deep curiosity about people. As a communication consultant, coach, author, and speaker dedicated to advancing gender equality, inclusive leadership, and social impact, my career has taken me across journalism, humanitarian affairs, and academia. From leading the press office at the International Committee of the Red Cross to conducting research that reshaped how the world understands women’s contributions to the United Nations, my work has always centered on amplifying human stories.

Through my advocacy, I led pioneering research uncovering the legacy of women from the Global South in shaping human rights, particularly their pivotal role in drafting the UN Charter. Once forgotten, this story is now recognized globally. It inspired the HBO documentary Bertha Lutz, my TED Talk at the United Nations, and has been featured in The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The Associated Press. The findings also informed UN training programs for new diplomats.

Recognized among the “100 Most Influential People in Switzerland” by Le Temps in 2018 and nominated as a Women Deliver Leader, I continue to help individuals and organizations craft authentic messages, amplify underrepresented voices, and communicate with purpose and impact.

My deepest aspiration is to help lift people’s consciousness, to create spaces where they can show up as their true selves, without judgment, and feel they are growing. Having personally benefited from coaching, I chose to train as a coach to give back what I once received. I believe people are inherently resilient and resourceful, and I feel grateful every day to work alongside so many inspiring individuals.
